Electric Castle 2026 returns to Bánffy Castle for its 12th edition, reinforcing its status as one of Europe’s most genre-fluid festival experiences.
Running across four days in mid-July, the 2026 edition brings together rock, electronic, hip-hop, and indie acts across multiple stages and a 24-hour festival environment that has become the event’s signature.

Headliners: Rock Icons Meet Modern Arena Acts
This year’s top billing is led by legendary alternative band The Cure, alongside arena-filling duo twenty one pilots and singer-songwriter Teddy Swims.
On the electronic and bass side, major draws include Chase & Status, Mochakk, Subtronics, Deep Dish, Kölsch, Solardo, SG Lewis, and the long-awaited reunion set from Skream & Benga.
Genre Diversity at Full Scale
True to its identity, Electric Castle continues to blur genre boundaries. Indie and alternative highlights include Wet Leg, Nothing But Thieves, Archive, and LP.
Hip-hop and experimental sounds arrive via Kneecap, while electronic-pop and underground scenes are represented by Yung Lean and Bladee, plus sets from Wilkinson, Eliza Rose, and Trinix.
A Surprise Festival Moment
One of the most unexpected additions this year is actor and musician Keanu Reeves, performing with his rock band Dogstar — a booking that adds a crossover pop-culture moment to the festival’s already stacked lineup.
More Than a Festival
Set in the medieval grounds of Bánffy Castle, Electric Castle is known for its immersive format: eight stages, art installations, camping zones, and non-stop programming that runs through day and night. The campsite opens July 15 with a dedicated opening party, marking the start of nearly five continuous days of activity.
With over 200 artists expected and attendance projected to exceed 200,000 people, Electric Castle continues to position itself as one of Europe’s most ambitious multi-genre festivals — where rock heritage, electronic culture, and new-wave sounds collide in a single location.
